About the organisation
The VGCCC is an independent statutory authority which regulates Victoria's gambling industry. The organisation licenses, informs and educates, monitors and enforces the gambling industry through a risk-based approach to regulation. The opportunity
This role reports to both the Deputy CEO & Executive Director Regulatory Operations, and the Director Regulatory Services. This role is responsible for a number of functions within the division, such as coordinating and providing effective and efficient administrative support services across the divisions. It also requires the preparation of high-level documentation as prescribed by the Director. This role ensures that highly confidential matters requiring attention are dealt with on a coordinated basis and, when required, tracking division wide administrative matters.
Who we are looking for
To be suitable for this role, you will have:
- Experience as an Executive Assistant is essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation, management and filing of documents, reports, memos, briefings, policies, procedures and other relevant correspondence
- Experience at developing and managing stakeholder relationships and engaging with others
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all requests on behalf of the Executive Director and the Director and the Division broadly
- Undertake all administrative tasks related to the Executive Director and Director including, but not limited to the following: managing telephone and email correspondence and calendar appointments; tracking and follow up on outstanding issues or actions on the Director's behalf; compiling agendas and minutes; drafting and formatting correspondence; and any other administrative tasks as required
