The opportunity

Reporting to Manager Data & Insights, this role is responsible for working across business areas to deliver data visualisation solutions using Power BI. You will play a critical role in analysing and reporting Finance, Operational, HR & Regulatory data. The role requires collaboration across departments, utilising Power BI to create insightful reports and dashboards that drive decision making and performance improvement.

Who we are looking for;

  • Demonstrated experience (e.g. 5+ years) in Power BI report development with Reporting Services and Cloud Services version 
  • Working knowledge and understanding of MS SQL Server (including Analysis Server) database management and querying
  • Experience in gathering business requirements and developing dashboards and reports in Power BI

Key responsibilities

  • Work with the business on a range of requirements gathering activities to help them define their business reporting and identify the most appropriate data sources to deliver the required reporting/dashboards
  • Utilise Power BI to create required reports and visually impactful dashboards
  • Create, manage and monitor data integrations to Finance, HR and Salesforce systems
  • Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures
