About the organisation:

The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) is an independent statutory authority which regulates Victoria's gambling industry.  The organisation licenses, informs and educates, monitors and enforces the gambling industry through a risk-based approach to regulation. The opportunity:

Reporting to the Manager, People Operations the Talent Acquisition Lead is responsible for working with leaders across the VGCCC to provide expert advice and support across all talent sourcing related activities.  Leading end-end recruitment delivery activities you will provide advice, support and delivery of sourcing strategies, screening, shortlisting, interviewing, referencing checking – ensuring the highest levels of candidate care across all stages of the selection process. 

Critical to this role is your ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels, to understand their resource requirements and support them with appropriate talent attraction strategies.  Working within agreed policies and frameworks, you will bring your creative ideas and innovative thinking to identify and explore ways we can continually review and improve our approaches to ensure VGCCC continues to attract the best talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert advice and innovative recruitment solutions that support VGCCC's purpose and strategic ambitions.
  2. Manage end-end recruitment process supporting managers and ensuring candidates receive great candidate care throughout selection processes.
  3. Identify new and innovative approaches to support the attraction of talent to a diverse range of roles across VGCCC to meet our workforce requirements.
