Our Opportunity
The Manager Finance Operations provides both strategic and operational financial leadership to the VGCCC, ensuring robust financial policy, governance, and service delivery with a focus on continuous improvement to streamline process. This position leads a high performing team through clear direction, guidance and support ensuring effective service delivery that aligns with strategic priorities.
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in accounting, business, finance, or related discipline.
- Membership of CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants.
- Significant experience and proven expert ability in the delivery and enhancement of a range of relevant financial management and accounting services in a government environment.
- Experience in the management and leadership of an end-to-end function, including management of an accounting/accounts team.
- Expert knowledge of the Financial Management Compliance Framework, including the Financial Management Act and the Standing Directions of the Minister for Finance.
