Full or part time role available
(0.7 to 1.0 FTE Negotiable)

This exciting opportunity is available to suitably qualified applicants looking to further their career at a busy Health Service located only 20 minutes from Halls Gap and the Grampians. Stawell Regional Health employs almost 300 staff, supporting the community of Stawell through a number of services, including acute, oncology, perioperative, residential care and primary health, delivered across multiple sites.

The organisation is looking for an experienced human resources practitioner willing to join a committed team of professionals and continue to improve its staff services. New projects currently being implemented include a time and attendance system and electronic credentialing system. The role offered is for a minimum of seven shifts per fortnight, but a part or full-time contract is negotiable  (56 to 76 hours per fortnight).

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (or equivalent)
  • At least three years experience in the management of human resources functions including recruitment, employment and employee relations activities
  • Experience in the coordination of occupational health and safety programs, including injury management
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to prepare a range of documents including reports, briefings and correspondence
  • Current practical knowledge of the legislative environment, within the health industry and State and Commonwealth legislation
