IBAC is Victoria's anti-corruption agency responsible for preventing and exposing public sector corruption and police misconduct. We do this by:

  • investigating and exposing corruption and police misconduct
  • informing the public sector, police and the community about the risks and impacts of corruption and police misconduct, and ways in which it can be prevented.

We are currently seeking a Strategic Policy and Research Officer who will contribute their skills in identifying, analysing and developing reports in response to contemporary and emerging corruption and misconduct risks.

As a member of a small team and reporting to the Team Leader Strategic Policy and Coordination, the Strategic Policy and Research Officer will:

  • undertake research and analysis on various corruption and integrity policy issues
  • prepare briefings and correspondence on policy issues
  • prepare reports, papers and recommended solutions on issues aimed at strengthening corruption prevention in the Victorian public sector.

Good conceptual and analytical ability, problem solving and project management skills are integral to success in this role.  This role will also provide you with an opportunity to further develop your research, policy and analysis skills.
