General Practitioner / Locums / Registrars Wanted

Situated just 120 kilometres from Albury/Wodonga in the far north-eastern corner of Victoria and nestled at the foot of the surrounding mountain ranges of Murray Valley, Corryong Health services 6,200 people who call the Towong shire home.

Corryong Health is a multiple purpose service provider and a fully accredited small rural health service. Corryong Health provides a range of services including urgent care, acute, residential aged care, allied health, NDIS and home and community-based services.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced GP, locums or registrars to join our practice team in either a full-time, part-time or choose your own fly-in/fly-out working arrangements. We welcome registrars and happy to organise and sponsor a supervisor. We are also open to discussions to help find work for your spouse and will provide agency sponsored accommodation and relocation assistance.

What we are looking for:

  • Specialist qualifications in General Practice,
  • To be considered for this position you must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or be willing to be sponsored and comply with visa requirements allowing you to live and work in Australia,
  • Recognised medical degree from Australia; United Kingdom; Canada; South Africa or New Zealand,
  • Willingness to progress towards FRACGP and/or FACRRM qualifications would be considered,
  • Current and appropriate registration with the Medical Board of Australia, or be eligible for such,
  • Applied knowledge, skills and experience in general practice as appropriate for the position,
  • Training in CPR, undertaken within the past three years,
  • Current national police check.
