PODIATRIST
Permanent full time or part time (0.8 FTE) applicants considered
We have an exciting permanent position available in the Robinvale District Health Services team as a Podiatrist working in a diverse community across a broad range of clinical services.
This position will be responsible for delivering essential podiatry interventions across a number of rural communities and involve working together with other professionals from the multi-disciplinary team.
You will work across a varied caseload including chronic disease management, musculoskeletal assessment and intervention, orthotic design and prescription, minor surgical procedures, high risk foot care and general management. As well as having the ability to be innovative in the delivery of new and existing services.
You will join an inclusive, fun and welcoming team based in Robinvale
The successful applicant will work within the RDHS Primary Care and Community Services team, which includes Allied Health and Nursing staff, such as Podiatry, AHLO, Speech Pathology, Dietetics, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Allied Health Assistance, Health Promotion Officer, Community Nursing and Community Midwifery; as well as our Early Years Programs. The position reports to the Director of Primary Care and Community Services.

Key Selection Criteria:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Podiatry and registration with AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience in delivering dynamic Podiatry interventions during studies and/or within previous workplaces
- Demonstrated effective organisational skills, problem solving skills and computer skills
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of issues that impact on service delivery in relation to: social disadvantage, Indigenous community, LGBTIQA+ communities and culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities
- Demonstrated experience in working as part of a team and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Current driver's licence valid within Australia
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience working in a rural health service
- Experience delivering outreach clinical services
