About the Role
This is a hands-on, technical role where you will provision, install/configure, operate and maintain systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.

You will be accountable for the management and development of the storage, networking and computer systems that support State Trustees Windows and Linux infrastructure. You will also lead technical research and development to enable continued innovation within the team.

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in IT or business related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • System administrator experience in a financial or Government institution.
  • Experience with virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMWare, Hyper-V)
  • Experience with implementing, maintaining and supporting a virtualised Microsoft Server 2012 or newer, inclusive of Active Directory management
  • Windows 10 and Office 2016 SOE development and management skills.
  • Working in a secure networked environment.
  • Experience with software application packaging and distribution (e.g. AppV, SCCM, WSUS/WDS)
  • Experience with Remote Access technologies (e.g. Citrix)
  • Managing security gateways and controls, i.e. Firewalls/IPS, email and web protection systems
  • Managing a collapsed core network, including storage and compute technologies.
  • ITIL Service Management Foundation Certification
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
