Position Details

Infrastructure Victoria is an independent statutory authority which provides expert advice and guides decision-making on Victoria's infrastructure needs and priorities. The Deputy Chief Executive works in partnership with the CEO to set the tone for the organisation, identifying strategic opportunities and translating these into clear and actionable directions for the team. The successful candidate will provide strategic direction and management oversight to all strategy, research and advice projects including conceptual development, research methodology decisions, contract initiation and management, analysis of findings, crafting of key messages, report development and communications outputs. The Deputy Chief Executive will apply proven leadership skills to build a cohesive, multi-disciplinary team in a dynamic environment, and maintain a psychologically safe and productive workplace culture.

To be successful in this role you will have a strong commitment to the purpose, values, and culture of Infrastructure Victoria. You will demonstrate expertise in leading and delivering a portfolio of research projects that deliver insightful findings and pragmatic recommendations.

You will possess proven skills in leading organisations and fostering reforms. You will demonstrate your capacity to drive a values-based, flexible workplace with a focus on staff wellbeing and high performance.
