Position Details
Infrastructure Victoria is an independent statutory authority which provides expert advice, undertakes research and guides decision making on Victoria's infrastructure needs and priorities.
Successful applicants will assist Infrastructure Victoria with work towards the next update of Victoria's infrastructure strategy. This can include report drafting and composition, policy or data analysis, literature reviews, engagement assistance, and project support duties.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate research and analysis skills relevant to policy, with good written communication and an understanding of critical thinking and problem solving. You will be willing to learn new skills, follow through on assigned work, and show initiative in prioritising and executing planned tasks.
Enrolment in or completion of a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline will be well regarded. We are open to accepting applications from a wide range of fields including social and environmental sciences, economics and statistics, planning and design, or engineering and law. We will highly regard any specific technical capabilities a candidate may bring, such as coding or data visualisation skills (for example, in R, Python or GIS).
