Position Details
Moe Police Station requires an energetic and dynamic person to work as an Administrative/Property Officer for a fixed term period until 02/04/24. The hours of duty will 48 hours per fortnight (0.63 FTE). There will be scope to increase hours up to 76 hrs per fortnight (1.00 FTE) after the Christmas period until the conclusion of the contract. The successful applicant must be willing to work in a team environment, demonstrate attention to detail, be a quick learner and able to self-motivate. The role will undertake the recording of administrative files internally and externally as well as the management and recording of seized and lost property. The role reports direct to a Team Leader and the station Senior Sergeants and will have some contact and interaction with external stakeholders.

Your duties will include:
- The recording of daily correspondence both internal and external
- Sorting of daily mail;
- The administration and management of property, seized and found;
- Answering telephone calls;
As the successful applicant, you will have:
- Proficient computer and data processing skills.
- The ability to work under pressure within a small team environment.
- Well-developed written & communication skills.
- A proven track record of behaviour consistent with the Victoria Police Code of Ethics, Conduct and the Organisational Values.
Requirements and relevant information:
- There is one Part Time, 48 hrs a fortnight, fixed term position up to 2nd April 2024 available.
- Position is located at the Moe Police Complex, Anzac Street, Moe.
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
- The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
