About the role:
As the successful applicant, your primary role will be as an Administrative/Property Officer within Southern Metro Division Three (Cardinia, Greater Dandenong and Casey Police Service Areas)
providing administrative support to various police complexes. Initial duties will be as the Personal Assistant to the Divisional Superintendent, based out of the Dandenong Police Station.

Your duties will include:
- Preparation of agendas and complete minute taking for internal and external meetings.
- Perform a variety of computerised tasks.
- The recording of daily correspondence, both internal and external.
- Attending enquiries from internal and external stakeholders, provide initial information and advice as required.
- Receiving, recording and distributing mail and correspondence as required.
- Preparing routine correspondence on a range of administrative matters and attend to follow-up procedures as required.
- Providing general office support tasks including the operation and maintenance of office equipment.
As the successful applicant, you will have:
- Experience in working with computers and systems to perform a range of administrative tasks including records management, data entry and word processing tasks.
- Must have the ability to accurately maintain systematic and administrative records.
- Good communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work successfully within a team environment and ability to work independently.
- Prioritisation skills and ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Adaptability to change.
Requirements and relevant information:
- One (1) x full-time, ongoing position available.
- The position will be required to travel to all Police Complexes located within Southern Metro Division Three, which includes but not limited to:
- Dandenong Police Complex.
- Springvale Police Complex.
- Endeavour Hills Police Complex.
- Cranbourne Police Complex.
- Narre Warren Police Complex.
- Pakenham Police Complex.
- Emerald Police Complex.
- Bunyip Police Complex.
- Koo Wee Rup Police Complex.
- Multi-Disciplinary Centre.
- Initial duties for this position will be at Dandenong Police Complex located at 50 Langhorne St, Dandenong, VIC, 3175.
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
- The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
- In accordance with the Acting Chief Health Officer's Direction – COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination (Workers) Directions, you are required to be fully vaccinated (this includes a booster vaccination) and your employment with Victoria Police is subject to proof of vaccination.
