About the role:
An opportunity for one (1) full time (fixed-term) Project Administrator to be part of our Health, Safety and Wellbeing Division, until 13 March 2025 with the possibility of extension.
The Health, Safety and Wellbeing Taskforce (the Taskforce) is the single most significant investment in the health, safety and wellbeing of Victoria Police employees. The Taskforce has been established to prevent and respond to work related injuries. The Taskforce is establishing six multi-disciplinary teams, based in hubs across the state, enhancing employee's mental health, injury prevention, early intervention, and recovery support. These newly created position offers an exciting opportunity to support Victoria Police employees.
The Project Administrator position will play a key role in supporting the implementation of the Taskforce. You will be responsible for both the coordination of end-to-end recruitment of employees, for a broad and diverse scope of positions, for multi-disciplinary teams and providing high level administrative support for the team and project. We are seeking applicants who can demonstrate a varied skill set with an ability to work in a dynamic environment and who have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Your duties will include:
- End to end recruitment activities, including the coordination of all associated recruitment administration, and assisting selection panel(s), where required.
- Providing specialist HR advice to internal and external stakeholders, keeping clients up to date with all changes associated with recruitment.
- Updating and maintaining internal databases for reporting and analysis purposes.
- Appling current recruitment legislation, policies, and procedures in a best practice environment.
- Contribute to the ongoing monitoring of project outcomes, including coordinating and participating in a range of project activities and administration tasks.
- Liaising with internal management, employees, and external stakeholders.
- Effectively manage and maintain office systems, including identification of system needs.

- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in providing administrative and project support with demonstrated initiative, problem solving and proactive work practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with key stakeholders and work well within a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work flexibly in a team environment and to contribute to change and business improvement programs.
