The Judicial Commission of Victoria is an independent body that investigates complaints about the conduct or capacity of judicial officers and members of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, upholding the high standards of conduct the Victorian public expects of its judiciary.

Reporting to the Board, the Director of the Judicial Commission of Victoria leads the administration of the Commission, ensuring the effective resolution of complaints. As a trusted adviser to the Board and Chief Justice as Chair, the position provides insightful, strategic and authoritative advice. Leading a professional team, the Director oversees the efficient management of the Commission's operations. Critical to success in this role will be building and maintaining professional relationships with Board members, Court Services Victoria and key stakeholders. A priority will be enhancing public awareness and understanding of the Commission and its important role.

Legally qualified and preferably with a background in litigation or administrative law, you are committed to excellence in service delivery and have a deep understanding of how the court system and government work. Your experience in fostering high performance and continuous improvement has been gained in the justice sector, essential services or similarly complex organisations. Commercially astute, you will align your strong sense of corporate and community responsibility to lead the Judicial Commission of Victoria through an exciting phase of development.
