Position Details
Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.
Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the ‘Courts Group'.

People Services provide core human resources functions, ensuring Courts Group has productive work systems and modern workplaces. People Services design and implement programs that support work performance and the health, safety, and wellbeing of judicial officers and members and employees.
About the Role
The Organisational Development (OD) Specialist will be responsible for designing, managing, and delivering learning programmes. This role includes developing evaluation surveys, analysing and reporting on learning effectiveness, and leveraging data to enhance the impact of CSV's Corporate Training program. The OD Specialist will play a key role in building employee capability and fostering a culture of high performance and engagement.
Key accountabilities include:
- Needs analysis
- Conducting thorough needs analysis to understand and identify capability gaps
- Consulting with stakeholders across jurisdictions, understanding their needs and integrating these into learning needs analyses and capability frameworks
- Design
- Designing, implementing and managing CSV's Capability Development Program
- Bringing subject matter expertise in developing fit for purpose capability programs to address skill gaps and establish desired behavioural change
- Collaborating with providers to ensure programs are tailored, relevant and effectively implemented
- Delivery
- Being a skilled facilitator, capable of engaging a wide range of audiences with credibility and impact
- Embedding end to end learning systems and a culture that address capability gaps and support continuous improvement
- Policy and systems
- Designing, evaluating and reporting on the effectiveness of leadership and capability development programs aligned with organisational goals
- Preparing reports and briefings that summarise the impact of leadership and capability development initiatives
- Data and insights
- Interpretting and presenting insights from employee engagement surveys, to help design actions that improve culture and performance
- Using data insights to optimise capability program content and delivery
About You
- Proven experience in implementing and managing a corporate training calendar and / or suite of programs
- Demonstrable as an excellent communicator, and able to facilitate both in-person and virtually
- Demonstrated knowledge of organisational psychology principles and concepts relating to behaviour change, organisational systems, research, program design and evaluation
