Court Services Victoria (CSV) is a public entity established by the Court Services Victoria Act 2014 to provide expert administrative support to Victoria's courts and tribunals: Supreme Court, County Court, Magistrates' Court (MCV), Children's Court (CCV), Coroners Court, and Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal; and to enable the Judicial College of Victoria and the Judicial Commission of Victoria to perform their functions.

The 2017/18 State Budget provided significant investment in Victorian courts and tribunals to deliver a modern, technology enabled, citizen focussed courts service, including the implementation of a new Case Management System (CMS). The CMS will play a critical role in reducing risk and supporting the Courts in delivery of their critical functions. A new CMS for MCV and CCV has been deemed a priority by the Victorian Government due to the growing number of cases in these jurisdictions, as well as the need to respond to family violence cases through modernised systems and greater support of changing community and court needs.

A newly created role, the Technical Lead is responsible for providing expert advice and support to CSV's senior executives and the judiciary in relation to technical issues throughout the end-to-end phase of the CMS project. The role will also lead the technical team and be responsible for the oversight and management of the technical installation of the case management system.

To be successful in this exciting role, the ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in technology project management, with a strong knowledge of IT developed across multiple platforms and technologies, including the inter-operability of infrastructure and application technologies. An outstanding communicator with a passion for service delivery, the Technical Lead is an experienced people manager with the ability to lead a team with diverse skills and experience. Relevant tertiary qualifications in ICT, business or project management would be highly regarded.
