Position Details

The Program Support Officer works with the Justice Innovation Team to support the development and implementation of the College's calendar of judicial education, including court conferences.  They assist in the end to end management of programs providing a broad range of administrative and research support, to ensure College education is delivered to the highest standard.

The Program Support Officer is a highly motivated and organised person with knowledge of and an authentic interest in the law, courts and the role of the judiciary.

The role requires a service-orientated person with a strong work ethic, good time management skills, a cooperative and can-do attitude and a willingness to learn from senior staff. The position involves working in a professional environment as part of a small dedicated team dealing with members of the judiciary and other high-level stakeholders - so diplomacy, discretion and a strong customer service attitude are vital. We also require enthusiasm, excellent communication skills and the ability work autonomously in addition to working well with others. An eye for detail and the capacity to work in a busy environment, meet strict deadlines, prioritise work and maintain quality standards are also essential.

The Program Support Officer reports to the Director, Justice Innovation. Specialist programs run within this team include Drug Court, Family Violence, Youth Justice and Victims of Crime.
