About us:

Court Services Victoria (CSV) is a public entity established by the Court Services Victoria Act 2014 to provide expert administrative support to Victoria's courts: the Supreme Court, the County Court, the Magistrates' Court, the Children's Court, and the Coroners Court, as well as the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal, Victims of Crime Assistance Tribunal, the Judicial College of Victoria and the Judicial Commission of Victoria.

The role operates within the Judicial Commission of Victoria (the Commission), which is an independent body established to investigate complaints about the conduct and capacity of judicial officers and non-judicial Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) members.

About the role:

The Operations Support Officer is responsible for providing confidential, high quality executive and administrative support to the Commission. The role works closely with the Director of the Commission and supports the broader team, with internal administrative and operations matters. The role involves frequent liaison with executive officers, senior managers and internal and external stakeholders in the administration of the Commission.

About you:

  • You have demonstrated experience and record of achievement in providing high-level confidential administrative support to an executive officer, director or senior manager and broader team.
  • You have demonstrated experience in the proficient use of office and information management systems, software applications including Microsoft Dynamics and SharePoint, and telecommunication technologies; maintaining confidential records and filing reports, correspondence and related material for ease of retrieval.
  • You're a team player, who thrives on working with others to achieve common goals and inspires others to do the same.
  • You're flexible and love solving problems and coming up with innovative solutions.
