Position Details

The Senior Project Manager reports directly to the Manager, Capital Projects and is responsible for delivery of major capital projects across Asset Planning and Management in a public sector context from conception to completion, to deliver works within an operational environment. 

The Senior Project Manager will be a proactive and motivated leader of a multi-disciplinary project team which is supported by consultants. 

The role involves the provision of advanced technical advice, focusing specifically on the capital and infrastructure program of works.

The development and maintenance of collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders is critical to anticipate and effectively address emerging issues, incorporate innovative programs and initiatives, and advise and negotiate with senior management in order to achieve long term strategic project goals.

To successfully deliver in the role you must have great stakeholder management skills to translate Client needs to built form outcomes.  You must also have a high level of understanding about government approval processes and property transactions.
