About the role

The Assistant Financial Accountant will be responsible for processing of account receivables, financial reporting, general ledger account reconciliations, and assisting the finance team with financial and administrative functions.

About you

  • Some knowledge of government financial systems and applications including the Financial Management Act (1994) as amended, associated Regulations and Directions and Department of Treasury and Finance guidelines
  • Proficient and demonstrated experience in the use of relevant information systems (ie. word and excel)
  • This position would suit a motivated and enthusiastic recent graduate looking to kick start their career.
  • While some experience and exposure to financial systems and applications is important a willingness to learn and contribute is highly desirable.
