Procurement Officer, Office of Chief Corporate and Strategy Officer, Court Services Victoria
• Reporting to the Transformation Program Senior Procurement Advisor, the Officer is responsible for providing specialist procurement support to the Procurement Transformation program to assist the execution of multiple concurrent sourcing initiatives.
• The role will support a consistent approach across all sourcing and procurement initiatives and may include, but is not limited to, the management of the sourcing process including responsibilities such as the development of tender and contract documentation, specifications, evaluation plans and coordination of the evaluation process. The Officer will play a vital role in ensuring procurement documentation is compliant and meets internal policies and procurement directives.
• The role requires a working knowledge of Victorian Government governance, finance and procurement policies and systems.
• The role will operate within a complex and demanding environment that requires the capacity to exercise sound judgement, excellent organisational skills and high-level data collection, analysis, and stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.

About the role
Reporting to the Senior Procurement Advisor, Procurement Transformation, the Officer plays a key role to:
- Project support for the entire transformation team with the execution of individual sourcing initiatives in a consistent manner and ensuring leverage of process, templates and knowledge.
- Undertake research and analysis to develop and prepare a range of complex documents, correspondence, reports, briefings, presentations and contract documentation for a variety of audiences.
- Contribute sourcing expertise to the development and implementation of processes to support the concurrent delivery of all Procurement Transformation initiatives.
- Engage and collaborate with all stakeholders to meet program needs.
- Establish and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders in relation to planning, sourcing management and support functions.
About you
- Recognised procurement professional with knowledge in undertaking sourcing events.
- Demonstrated experience within a public procurement function.
- Demonstrated experience in building relationships with key stakeholders.
- Experience in planning and overseeing multiple sourcing and procurement activities including electronic document management systems (e.g., TRIM); maintaining confidential records and filing reports, correspondence and related material for ease of retrieval.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the application of procurement systems, tools and data analytics to support decision making, manage risk and maximise value for money outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, modelling, and preparation of reports.
- Knowledge of pricing, commercial structures and associated contract terms.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
