Position Details

Senior Manager, Export Development - Shanghai, China

Reporting to the Commissioner for Victoria in Greater China, this position is responsible for managing the strategic direction of the Victorian Government Access China market entry program through the Representative Office in Shanghai, China. The establishment of effective business networks is key to supporting the market entry activities of Victorian companies utilising the program, and Victorian companies are provided with assistance in planning and executing their market development activities into the Chinese market.

This role requires an extensive background in export management and development, with experience and a record of achievement in trade or investment facilitation into China, together with a detailed understanding of the business and government environments in China, with a sound knowledge of Australian trade and economic ties with China. 

This role works collaboratively with colleagues based at Head Office in Melbourne, as well as across other international offices.
