Position Details

This role provides advanced case management support to accused persons who are participating in the ARC program, supporting clients with a range of complex needs.

The Magistrates' Court of Victoria is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic advanced case manager to be part of its Assessment and Referral Court (ARC) program at the Moorabbin Magistrates' Court.

The role of the Advanced Case Manager is to provide case management support to clients with complex mental health and/or disability support needs. You will work with clients for a 12 month period prior to their sentencing by the Court, supporting them to address the issues that are contributing to their offending behaviour.

We encourage you to apply if you possess the following:

  • Relevant qualifications in social work, psychology or equivalent discipline
  • Extensive experience in assessing and case managing clients with complex needs
  • Experience in mentoring or coaching staff
  • Detailed knowledge of the mental health and disability service systems and practice models for working with clients with complex mental health and/or disability support needs
  • Strong team player with effective communication skills and a flexible approach
