Position Details

The Magistrates' Court of Victoria is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to be part of this exciting time of growth and change as we expand the Assessment and Referral Court (ARC) List program to the Moorabbin Magistrates' Court.  

The role of the Mental Health Advanced Case Manager is to provide case management support to clients with complex mental health support needs. You will work with clients for a 12 month period prior to their being sentenced by the Court, supporting them to address the issues that are contributing to their offending behaviour.  

We encourage you to apply if you possess the following: 

  • Relevant qualifications in social work, psychology or equivalent discipline 
  • Extensive experience in assessing and case managing clients with complex needs 
  • Detailed knowledge of the mental health and disability service systems and practice models for working with clients with complex mental health support needs  
  • Strong team player with effective communication skills and a flexible approach
