Position Details

  • Lead the Information Sharing team for the Magistrates' and Children's Court of Victoria resulting in innovative and effective information sharing policies and practices.
  • Be the central contact point and subject matter expert for the information sharing reforms, and provide authoritative advice to the MCV and the Children's Court of Victoria staff on the relevant framework.
  • Develop, plan and manage a range of training initiatives relevant to Information Sharing in the Magistrates' and Children's Court.

The Information Sharing Manager works as part of the Family Violence Policy and Practice Unit (FVPPU) within the Magistrates' Court of Victoria, which aims to deliver service excellence and strengthen the family violence processes in the Magistrates' Court.

The Information Sharing Manager is responsible for the management and continuous improvement of the Family Violence Information Sharing regime and Central Information Point (CIP). The Family Violence Information Sharing regime and CIP are part of the delivery on the recommendations of Royal Commission into Family Violence. The role will also be responsible for leading the implementation of the Child Wellbeing and Safety Information Sharing Scheme.
