An exciting opportunity exists within the Magistrates' Court of Victoria to contribute to work informed by the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Family Violence. These recommendations call for a more integrated approach between the state family violence intervention order system and the federal family law system.

The Senior Project Officer, Family Law, will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of a model for the exercise of family law orders in the Magistrates' Court of Victoria. This family law model will complement the specialist family violence court approach to managing family violence matters in Victoria.

The Senior Project Officer will work closely with the Senior Project Manager, Family Law to develop procedures, systems and processes to promote the exercise of family law orders in the Magistrates' Court of Victoria to the defined project management parameters of time, cost and quality. The Senior Project Officer will also work closely with consultants undertaking economic modelling, ensuring they have relevant necessary data and information to complete economic modelling and evaluate the new family law model.
