Position Details

The Family Violence Programs and Initiatives Unit (FVPIU) leads service excellence in family violence responses within the MCV and is responsible for managing the relevant programs and family violence initiatives within the court.

The Family Violence Operations Manager is responsible for the operation of family violence related services, practices and processes within the Magistrates' Court of Victoria.

Working within the context of a multidisciplinary team, the Family Violence Operations Manager leads a team to provide expert advice and support to specialist family violence practitioners, as well as registry and other court staff and the judiciary.

Reporting to the Manager, FVPIU, this role develops, monitors and ensures best practice in the MCV with respect to family violence.
