The Senior Project Officer provides advice and manages key tasks relating to the identification and management of risk across the organisation and in the areas of strategic and business planning, audit, reporting, annual budget (Expenditure and Review Sub-Committee) coordination, Public Accounts and Estimates (PAEC) processes and responding to Freedom of Information (FOI) requests. The Senior Project Officer will liaise with staff across all levels and support the organisation to identify and develop strategic priorities, identify risks and report on progress.

The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria Statutory Authority with a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria. It provides services across 51 locations through 100 judicial officers and 700 staff.

Reporting to the Manager Strategic Planning, the Senior Project Officer is part of the Strategy and Communications team that supports the organisation to identify and develop strategic priorities, key messages and manage risk. The team is part of the Finance and Strategy Branch.
