The Team Leader Family Violence – LGBTI, position will work as part of the Perpetrator Interventions Project (PIP) team, managed by the Senior Project Manager, PIP, to design, develop and pilot an innovative service and support model for LGBTI partners and families, who are engaged in the Family Violence Court system.

The LGBTI Family Violence Team Leader will manage a specialist LGBTI Family Violence Applicant Practitioner and a specialist LGBTI Family Violence Respondent Practitioner, providing services through outreach to a number of courts and sited at the Neighbourhood Justice Centre (NJC). The Team will pilot and refine the new responsive support services for LGBTI families moving through the court system, including establishing appropriate referral pathways to behavior change programs and support services.

The Team Leader will also be professionally supervised and supported by the existing Family Violence Branch and linked to the collegiate support of other MCV Team Leaders of Court based practitioners.
