ABOUT US

The Children's Court Clinic is an independent body that conducts assessments and provides reports on children and their families at the request of CCV magistrates across Victoria, pursuant to Section 547 of the Act. The Clinic also has a small treatment function in selected cases still before the Court and is a teaching facility. The clinicians employed in the CCV are highly skilled psychologists and psychiatrists who have specialist knowledge in the areas of child protection and juvenile offending. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Clinical Intake and Project officer will complete intake and risk assessments in Family Division and Criminal Division Children's Court cases referred to the Children's Court Clinic as well as contributing to the evaluation and improvement of clinical processes within the Clinic, as required.

Experience working in mental health, child protection and/or forensic settings is required as well as masters or doctoral training in psychology.
