The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a key part of Victoria's justice system, hearing more than 300,000 cases per annum which represents over 90 per cent of the criminal and civil cases that come before Victorian courts. 

In addition to its court operations, MCV also provides a number of specialist courts and programs that aim to improve outcomes for court users and the community.

About the role

An exciting opportunity has been created within our Major Projects Office (MPO) of the Magistrates' Court of Victoria, an innovative and accessible court that delivers fair, transparent, and efficient justice for Victorians

This position operates within a complex, demanding and often challenging environment. As a Project Manager within the MPO you will work in collaboration with key court administrative staff, the judiciary and key partner agencies to help the delivery of projects within a structured project management framework.

About you

  • You have a demonstrated understanding of project management methodology, standards and frameworks and experience in the delivery of projects.
  • You will have excellent interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
  • You are a people person that builds relationships with stakeholders to deliver expectations that aligns outcomes to business needs.
