Position Details

The role of Registrar - Office Manager is responsible for all daily operational tasks including the management of all staff within the registry The position operates within a complex, demanding and sensitive environment that requires the capacity to exercise sound judgement, liaise effectively with the Judiciary, senior officers of the courts and government departments and build relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Assist in monitoring the performance outputs of the Court and the demand pressures on its facilities.  Maintain liaison with the Registries Manager in relation to the Court's resourcing requirements and assist in adopting flexible solutions to achieve cost-effective outcomes for the Court and improved service delivery to its clients.
  • Contribute to the development, evaluation and implementation of new policies and procedures that enhance the Court's operations, resource allocation and work organisation, to achieve the Court's strategic objectives.
  • Manage work teams to ensure that staff attend professional development programs, are rotated to maximise their learning opportunities, knowledge and skills and are provided with regular feedback regarding their performance.
