About us

The Security Operations Manager position operates within the People, Culture and Change division of Jurisdiction Services (JS). JS is the corporate arm of Court Services Victoria (CSV), and provides services and support to CSV divisions and all Victorian courts and tribunals, to assist in the delivery of justice services.

About the role

Working closely with CSV courts and tribunals, the Security Operations Manager plays a key role in providing technical advice and leadership to develop and establish optimal security management frameworks, systems, strategic planning, policies and protocols.

The position operates within a complex, demanding and sensitive environment where relationships are key. The role is responsible for responding to security-related initiatives, issues and breaches raised by court users, including incident reporting, investigation and resolution. Further, the Security Operations Manager will provide expertise in the development of procurement, contract and service level agreement documentation and the ongoing monitoring and review of contracted security services.

About you

As the successful candidate, you will have demonstrated knowledge and experience in security and advisory roles across a range of organisational settings. You will also be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of the practices and procedural requirements of a courts and tribunals environment, including the ability to identify applicable legislation. In addition to the technical skills, the ability to communicate, influence and build relationships to resolve ambiguity and complex security issues is critical.
