Position Details

The Project Officer works as part of the Specialists Courts and Support Services within the Magistrates' Court of Victoria, which aims to deliver service excellence and strengthen the Courts processes across the state.

The Project Officer position is primarily responsible for developing and implementing best practice procedures for support workers in the Koori Court jurisdiction of the Magistrates' Court and Children's Court. The role will also play a critical part of the wider implementation of the expansion of Koori services in Magistrates' and Children's across Victoria.   

As part of Courts' commitment to improve access and service delivery to Koori clients, the Koori Project Officer, will be responsible for managing project work, developing and implementing problem solving and innovative approaches.

Reporting to the Senior Project Officer, Koori Court Unit this role will play an important role in developing the effective development, implementation and monitoring of the Koori programs and initiatives across the Magistrates' and Children's Court of Victoria.
