Position Details
About the Role
Ongoing part time - 32 hours per week
Night duty and day shifts available, please specify your preference in your cover letter.
As an ANUM in our Residential Aged Care team, you will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to provide clinical leadership to all staff to ensure that individualised care is planned, implemented, evaluated and maintained at a high standard.
You will demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge and skills whilst assuming a management focus in the ward/unit.
Our ANUM's are an integral member of the unit's management and leadership team, managing and providing direction for staff, whilst ensuring that the well-being of the resident and family is the primary focus of care within the unit.
About You
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor of Nursing
Key Selection Criteria (essential):
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Good understanding and application of the Aged Care Quality Standards, Charter of Aged Care Rights and Aged Care Act 1997
- Well developed and contemporary clinical skills and knowledge, including the application of Infection Control practices and principles
- Sound understanding of quality systems and continuous improvement models, whilst achieving optimal outcomes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated strong organisational and time management skills and experience in leading others
- Sound understanding of the Australian National Aged Care Classification funding model (AN-ACC)
- Good comprehension of the clinical indicator reporting program
- Knowledge and experience of the Accreditation process
Desirable (non-essential):

Post graduate qualification (or willingness to undertake study) in management or relevant clinical area

Moyne Health Services is a public, not for profit, integrated healthcare service that helps meet community healthcare needs in Port Fairy and surrounding districts in the Moyne Shire. Employing more than 200 people, MHS operates a 12 bed acute hospital, 2 Aged Care Residences with a total of 82 beds, primary and community care services, social support group programs and Allied Health Services.
