Position Details

Medical Receptionist/Administration Team member -  Echuca Primary Care Clinic (EPCC) and Medical Consulting Suites - 11 hrs. per fortnight

HS1-A

Applications are sought from suitably experienced and qualified Medical Receptionists/Administration Assistants to work in the Echuca Primary Care Clinic and Medical consulting Suites at Echuca Regional Health.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Meet and greet clients, answer phone calls, make and change appointments
  • Process payments from clients for services provided
  • Liaise with patients to make appointments with various departments at Echuca Regional Health including Operating Theatre, Pre-operative and Admission, Pathology and Radiology
  • Prepare and maintain waiting, meeting, treatment and counselling rooms in a tidy and presentable condition
  • Preparation/reconciliation of daily banking, Medicare/HIC claims and records.

This position may at times rotate between the reception and administration area within the Medical Suites as rostered and report to the Medical Suites Manager.  The Medical Receptionist may be requested to perform other duties, as reasonable and appropriate, from time to time.

The role will also be providing Annual Leave and some planned Personal Leave cover to the EPCC/Medical Consulting Suites Reception/Administration team.

This position requires completion of a satisfactory National Police Check prior to appointment.
