Position Details

Policy Officer and Senior Policy Officer positions

Multiple VPS4.1 and VPS5.1 Policy Officer positions, Policy and Regulation Unit.

EPA Victoria aspires to create a healthy environment that supports a liveable and prosperous Victoria.  By effectively regulating pollution in Victoria, the EPA strive to preserve healthy waterways, safe land, clean air and minimise environmental disturbances for Victorians.

As a Policy Officer or Senior Policy Officer, you will be a member of a dynamic team making an essential contribution to the most significant environmental regulation reforms in Victoria since the Environment Protection Act was introduced. 

In this role, you need to be a lateral thinker, fast learner, and focussed on getting the job done. You should enjoy being part of a supportive team working on complex problems across a range of stakeholders. 

What you will bring to the role

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • An interest or experience in in strategy, regulatory, or policy design, systems thinking, implementation and evaluation.
