Position Details

Exhibition Project Officer

Museums Victoria is seeking an Exhibition Project Officer, to support the development of temporary and touring exhibitions at our three museums, Melbourne Museum, Immigration Museum and Scienceworks.

This position assists with the coordination of development, installation and deinstallation of exhibition projects across our sites. You'll be a motivated, organised and collegiate person who enjoys working in a passionate, dedicated team committed to providing high quality experiences for our Museums Victoria visitors.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following qualifications, experience, and skills:

  • Experience in project coordination, with a preference for experience in a museum, science centre or similar visitor attraction
  • Highly developed organisational, prioritisation and problem solving skills
  • Well developed communication and relationship building skills

This position will give you the opportunity to showcase your ability to work in a team, your great organisational and problem solving skills and gain experience for your career in exhibitions and cultural organisations.

OTHER INFORMATION

This is a Full-time, fixed term position until 30 October 2028. The salary on offer is $74,580 (pro rata) + 11% superannuation.
