THE OPPORTUNITY:

Australia's largest public museum organisation is seeking an enthusiastic team player to join our Education team at Scienceworks as Education Programs Producer to lead the development and delivery of curriculum-based Science education programs.

 

Working alongside the Public Programs & Education team, key duties of this role include: 

 

The position is accountable for developing curriculum-based learning programs and resources in physical sciences, with a focus on Astronomy and Earth and Space Science in accordance with Museums Victoria's objectives and priorities and address the goals of the Victorian Curriculum.  This job also requires supporting Professional Learning opportunities for teachers, tertiary students and museum colleagues.

 

Notable skills and experiences:

  • Excellent practitioner whose teaching is informed by contemporary educational research
  • High-level communication skills, and ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers and colleagues
  • Experience delivering learning programs aligned with Victorian Curriculum
  • Ability to coordinate and deliver programs, events and digital programs to ensure best audience experience
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with relevant stakeholders and partners in collaboration with internal teams, to support Scienceworks and Education team objectives.

OTHER INFORMATION:

This role is a full-time, fixed term position (31 December 2025). The salary on offer is $91,418 per annum (Base of grade) plus 11% superannuation.
