Australia's largest public museum organisation is seeking a Membership Marketing and Engagement Officer to develop and coordinate a range of content, campaigns, events and initiatives aimed at growing the membership program, increasing and supporting membership retention, visitation and revenue targets.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

Reporting to the Manager, Museum Members, this position is accountable for the successful development and implementation of a membership retention and acquisition strategy across Museums Victoria which engages, grows and builds loyalty of the Museum Member audience.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Proven understanding and demonstrated experience of developing audience-focused content delivered across a variety of mediums and channels.
  • Proven understanding and experience of developing and implementing member focused marketing and retention plans.
  • Proven understanding and experience of developing and implementing member focused marketing and retention plans.
  • Well-developed marketing skills including the ability to write edit and produce advertising, online and collateral copy.
  • Demonstrated understanding of membership or. loyalty programs.
  • Experience and extensive knowledge of working within a membership organisation/role and/or arts and culture and/or visitor attractions.
  • Strong CRM experience.
  • Experience in the research, development and delivery of engaging events and programs for diverse audiences.
  • An ability to effectively develop internal and external networks with stakeholder groups and agencies.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • An ability to coordinate tasks and work to many competing deadlines.
  • An ability to work autonomously, as well as in cross-functional teams.

OTHER INFORMATION

This is a full time, fixed-term position until July 2021. The salary on offer is $68,884 per annum; paid pro-rata (Base of grade) plus 9.5% superannuation.
