About the role

The Senior Advisor, Asset Information provides specialist advice in the establishment of Public Transport Victoria's asset management environment, working in conjunction with a range of stakeholders within Transport for Victoria, Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources, other transport agencies and at the transport operator level. The role will also advise and support development in the use of asset information to support evidence based decision making.

What we're looking for

Essential (must have to be considered for the position)

  • Significant experience working in infrastructure management (transport sector preferred) and providing advice on complex infrastructure asset environments.
  • Knowledge of asset management frameworks, such as ISO55001.
  • Knowledge of and experience working with Asset Management Systems and related improvement processes in practice.
  • Experience in the establishment and implementation of asset information management processes and controls. 
  • Experience in developing and recording asset condition and performance measures and reporting / analytics requirements linked back to customer based service delivery standards


  • Experience in the development of an Asset Information Management Strategy.
  • Experience in the establishment and implementation of an Asset Information Management System.



  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Science, or other technically oriented discipline, or a relevant business degree


  • Qualifications or demonstrated studies in asset management
