  •  Exciting opportunity exists for a No Lift Coordinator to join the ERH Education Team
  • Fixed Term project position for 3 years (8 hrs per fortnight)

Applications are sought from suitably qualified registered nurses with an interest in coordinating, implementing and maintaining the No-Lift education program at Echuca Regional Health.

Echuca Regional Health is a teaching hospital with a strong culture committed to supporting the professional development of all our employees.  The ERH Education department is responsible for the design and delivery of the education programs needed to ensure ERH maintains a continually upskilled workforce, and supports the delivery of programs designed to comply with the National Safety & Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHG) and the Commonwealth's Aged Care Accreditation Standards. 

The Education Team is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to be responsible for coordination of the No Lift Patient Handling System throughout Echuca Regional Health. The position involves the development, implementation and maintenance of No Lift training programs, e-learning and other competency based learning packages.  The No Lift Coordinator will work collaboratively with NUM's/Department Heads and ward based No Lift Trainers to ensure safe techniques in patient handling and transfer are established and maintained and that staff complete competency training as per ERH policy.   The successful applicant will have experience with No Lift techniques and safe patient handling, a strong commitment to teaching and education and will be responsible for providing ongoing education and support to clinical staff. 

This position requires completion of a satisfactory National Police Check prior to appointment.
