Position Details

This is great opportunity for a customer focused and responsive Senior Assessment Officer to join our busy Complaints and Statutory Referrals business unit.

In this role, you will be assessing and evaluating plumbing complaints, as well as managing complex complaint matters ensuring they are assessed in a timely manner.  You will also be assisting the team leaders in supporting a team of assessment officers and providing mentoring and training to new staff and colleagues.

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply legislation, policies and procedures
  • Strong customer service experience with the ability to handle complex complaints
  • Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise, negotiate and influence a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Good leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor colleagues to achieve outcomes
  • Strong organisational skills and experience working in a deadline driven environment
