Position Details

The Victorian Building Authority (VBA) is seeking a Registration Officer who will be responsible for delivering effective practitioner registration, administration and coordination of registration applications and renewals. This person will also provide customer service to a range of internal and external stakeholders. The role requires excellent phone-manner, and the confidence to interact with colleagues, consumers, registered building practitioners and industry stakeholders.  

Key Selection Criteria

To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate:

  • experience in the provision of administrative and customer service support;
  • strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders;
  • excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and to meet business objectives;
  • proven organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure; and
  • well-developed computer skills.

Salary Details

A base salary in the Grade 2 range of $51,717 to $66,414 per annum (plus 9.5% super), will be negotiated with the successful candidate, depending on their skills and experience.
