The role is ideal for an early-mid career HR generalist or ambitious administrator with an interest in moving into the HR space. Your primary objective will be partnering with managers and employees to facilitate People and Culture functions under the broad direction of the Executive Director. This is a continuing part-time opportunity for 0.6FTE with the flexibility to be shaped with the successful candidate in mind. About the role

An exciting new opportunity has been created for an Advisor to join our People and Culture team at Moyne Health Services. The successful candidate will partner with employees and leaders in our organisation to advise and facilitate the effective management of people, legislative requirements, Occupational Health and Safety programs and risk management and improvement of key workforce processes and plans.

The role will work under broad direction of the Executive Director of People and Culture, and collaborate closely with our People & Culture Administrator as well as a wide range of internal stakeholders. Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with managers to advise on policy matters, including recruitment and talent on-boarding, staff performance management; injury management and return to work processes;
  • Provide advice on Industrial and Employment Relations, facilitating and administrating casework projects, grievances and disciplinary issues to timely resolutions;
  • Provide advice to people managers and staff on matters relating to employment conditions, award and policy interpretation to ensure appropriate application to workplace issues

About you

To be successful in this role you will be great at developing positive working relationship with people from a wide range of roles across our organisation. You will operate with a high level of discretion and professionalism, with the ability to maintain data and processes with a high level of accuracy and sensitivity. Ideally you will have experience working within a human resources environment in a health or agreement based sector, and possess the ability to understand and interpret employment legislation to others; however we may consider supporting a strong administrator or business background for a talented individual with the right skill set, who is seeking to gain experience in a HR space.
