Post-Graduate Critical Care Student 2019


  • Registered Nurse Division 1
  • Critical Care Student 2019
  • 0.6 EFT Per fortnight minimum

Applications are sought from suitably qualified Division 1 Registered Nurses for the position of Critical Care Student, Grade 2, within the HDU & Emergency Department.

This position will be a minimum of 0.6 EFT commencing in February 2019 with a duration of 12 months. This position is dependent upon successful enrolment in a Post Graduate Critical Care and on-going participation. The successful applicant will also be subject to initial performance appraisal three months after commencement in the role.

The successful applicant will have at least one year of recent relevant clinical experience, knowledge of acute care, a commitment to the development of the nursing profession, and teamwork.

Contracted hours will allow for additional supernumerary, unpaid access to Emergency Department &/or HDU in order to achieve the required outcomes of the course. 

The key selection Criteria for this role is:

  • Motivated to best practice and in accordance with ERH standards
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills

This position requires completion of a satisfactory National Police Check prior to appointment.
