Position Details

Planner - Expressions of Interest

Location: Flexible

Salary: $90,067 - $102,192 + Super

The Planning Group is currently seeking Expressions of Interest from talented and driven individuals with an eye for detail and an ability to partner with multiple stakeholders to deliver strong planning outcomes.

A Planner provides a range of services including statutory services to deliver the Minister for Planning's responsibilities in relation to the assessment of planning scheme amendments, planning permit applications and other requirements of planning legislation and instruments.

Qualifications and Experience

Mandatory

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and significant experience in urban planning, is required
  • Proven expereince working on complex development projects, is required for some roles and highy regarded in others.
  • Working knowledge of the Victoria Planning Provisions and the Planning and Environment Act 1987 is required, with statutory and/or strategic planning experience in state or local government.

Desirable

  • Practical experience with project management and recording systems is desirable, as is previous experience working in a complex office environment.

The duration of the position will depend on the role/roles available at the time. These may be fixed-term, or ongoing.
