The Portable Long Service Authority is an independent statutory body established to administer the Long Service Benefits Portability Act 2018. The Act, together with the Long Service Benefits Portability Regulations 2020 provide a Portable Long Service Benefits Scheme.
About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for a talented and passionate individual to join the People and Culture team as Senior People and Culture Adviser at the Portable Long Service Benefits Authority.
The Senior People and Culture Adviser supports the entire HR function for the Authority by ensuring adequate human resource (HR) systems, policies and processes are developed and implemented. This role identifies HR priorities and recommends appropriate people management solutions in relation to organisational development, culture and change to deliver outcomes and manage issues
The position offers the opportunity to showcase your specialist skills and utilise your excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills in this friendly supportive team.
As our ideal candidate you will have strong HR generalist experience, with a proven record in providing strategic HR advice and the ability to contribute to workforce management and planning, with a focus on meeting organisational priorities.

Other relevant information
The Authority is committed to providing and maintaining a working environment which is safe and without risk to the health of its employees and clients and consistent with the Authority's obligations under the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 (OH&S Act). Therefore, there is a requirement that all PLSA employees be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to undertake duties outside of their homes (unless an exception applies).
