What we do

VAGO play a critical role in holding the public sector to account by reviewing how effectively agencies deliver services and use public funds. As a high performing organisation we are constantly looking for new ways to deliver the best possible outcomes for the Victorian community. We look for people who are innovative – people who can imagine possibilities and transform them into realities.

What you'll do

You will lead our recruitment and onboarding systems transition to a SuccessFactors™ based platform. This will be linked to our newly implemented human capital management system. To achieve this outcome, you will:

  • Assist in the scoping requirements and drafting the project plan
  • Ensure budgets, milestones, quality assurance targets and project reporting requirements are achieved
  • Identify people and other resourcing requirements and deliver solutions to meet those needs including vendor selection and management
  • Manage workflow to contractors or service providers and monitor quality and quantity of outputs delivered
  • Identify and mitigate risks and effectively and efficiently manage stakeholder engagement

If you want more details about the role, check out the position description on our careers page.

Who you are

You will have a record of accomplishment of successfully leading projects, especially technology system transitions.

Your capabilities include:

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Drive to generate momentum where stakeholders may not readily grasp the benefits the project will deliver
  • Sound judgement skills and ability to manage contentious issues or complex decisions without precedent
  • A supportive, collegial and resilient leadership approach
  • A creative, proactive, and pragmatic solutions focus

Academic and technical requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management or a similar discipline
  • Sound SuccessFactors implementation experience
  • It's not necessary to have tertiary qualifications in Technology, but it's a bonus!
